FNB Botswana Grand Prix attracts global athletics talent

Athletes from Botswana, Algeria, Belgium, Cameroon, Canada, Congo, Ethiopia, Egypt, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia, Jamaica, Great Britain, Kenya, South Africa, the United States, and Zimbabwe will compete in the one-day FNB Botswana Grand Prix. Event organisers say the venue is ready and World Athletics-accredited, with headliners including Canadian 200m Olympic champion Andre De Grasse.

  1. Botswana U-14 tennis team competes at African championships

    Botswana's U-14 national tennis team is competing at the ITF/CAT African Junior Championships on Clay Court in Egypt from April 6 to 11. The squad of Tinashe Phatshwane, Malak Macheng, Camilla Seetso and Angel Chakanyuka participated in a warm-up tournament beforehand, with the Botswana Tennis Association confident the players will deliver strong performances.
